Sīlasampatti
— Accomplishment in virtue —
[sīla+sampatti]

The formula is used as a definition of sekhaṃ sīlaṃ (virtues of on under training - eg: AN 3.74), and of being vaṇṇa-sampanna (endowed with beauty - eg: AN 3.97). On 5 occasions, it is the first step of a gradual path of practice equivalent or similar to the Sekha Paṭipadā. At AN 8.13, it is the first of the eight qualities that make a bhikkhu āhuneyyo, pāhuneyyo, dakkhiṇeyyo, añjali·karaṇīyo, anuttaraṃ puñña'k'khettaṃ lokassā (worthy of gifts, worthy of hospitality, worthy of offerings, worthy of respectful salutations, the unsurpassed field of merit for the world).
